Export & Import
Export SQL, OpenAPI, Mermaid ERDs, and TypeScript; import supported Terraform, Mermaid, and Jira data.
Export
Open the command palette (Ctrl+K) in a branch and choose an export action.
SQL
SQL export generates DDL for PostgreSQL from the branch's data model. It does not offer MySQL. Choose Export SQL, then copy or download the generated DDL.
Other exports
- OpenAPI generates an OpenAPI specification.
- Mermaid ERD exports entity relationships as Mermaid ER diagram text.
- TypeScript exports TypeScript types from model definitions.
Choose the relevant export command in the command palette, then copy or download the result offered by the dialog.
Import
Import dialogs provide a preview before making branch changes. Review the proposed changes and any diagnostics first; apply only when the preview has no error-severity diagnostics. Applying persists the reviewed changes to the branch.
Mermaid ERD
Use the Mermaid ERD import command, provide Mermaid ER diagram text, review the preview, and apply the import. This flow accepts ER diagrams, not Mermaid flowcharts.
Terraform
Terraform IaC import accepts Terraform plan JSON (for example, terraform show -json output). Review its create, update, and delete preview before applying. See the Terraform IaC import guide for supported resources and deletion scope.
Jira
The Jira integration is inbound-only: it imports Jira issues into Nodeable planning data. It does not synchronize Nodeable changes back to Jira. Configure it in Workspace Settings; the workspace settings guide explains the available settings.
